What this version stores in your browser and when it contacts other services.
Language preference and search
The public site stores the selected language in localStorage under the key up-language. Optional analytics choices are stored on this browser under up-analytics-consent-v1 for up to 180 days. You can change the analytics choice through Privacy preferences in the footer or remove these preferences through your browser’s site-data controls. Site search runs in the browser; no advertising tracker is configured.
Optional audience and performance measurement
When enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits and page performance only after you accept analytics. Rejecting leaves this provider unloaded. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics and does not track individuals across websites. The browser sends measurement requests to Cloudflare after acceptance; the site stores your choice separately as described above. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals prevent this analytics script from loading. Changing an accepted choice to rejection reloads the current page to stop its analytics code. This setup does not configure advertising, individual user profiles or custom click-event tracking.
Video and linked services
The campus video connects to YouTube only after you press play. It uses the youtube-nocookie.com player; playing it still connects to Google and may involve processing under Google’s privacy policy. Google Forms, Apple Podcasts, publishers, and repositories open when you follow their links.
Hosting and editor access
The public site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Hosting providers may process technical request information, including IP addresses, under their policies. This public-site description does not cover the separate editor sign-in and GitHub authorization workflow.
