Copyright and attribution
Sources, licences, and a channel for rights enquiries.
Rights belong to their holders
Research articles, book material, photographs, portraits, and institutional marks retain their respective rights. Some area images are available under a free-use licence and the historical John Stuart Mill portrait is identified as public domain by its source. This does not place every asset on this website in the public domain.
Document previews
Where available, publication thumbnails reproduce the authentic first page of the document and link to its reference. Publisher website screenshots are not used as substitutes. Displaying a preview is not a grant of full-text access or permission to redistribute the work.
Report a rights concern
To request a correction or report a rights concern, contact Akito Kamei and identify the page, material, and reason for your request. Do not send confidential identity documents by ordinary email. The Center will route the request to the appropriate University area.
